5. Question: what's the yellow RCA wire for on the camera, thought it was wireless?

Answer: Wireless means you don't have to run a hard wire between the camera and monitor. Each unit however needs a power source to operate. I ran the camera wires to the trailer plug on my motorhome. Instead of putting the hot wire to the backup lights, I put it on the running lights so I just put my parking lights on and the camera stays on, not just when I back up. Next, I got a cigarette lighter plug and attached it to the monitor wires, so when I want to see anything, I just hit the on button on the monitor and put my running lights on. I tow a boat behind my motorhome and can't see it because of the motorhome width. Now, I can back up directly to my hitch without assistance and leave the camera on when I'm traveling so I can see the boat and watch for any tire issues, etc. Works wonderfully for us!
